The Air Jordan XIII, 1997, by Tinker Hatfield, took its black panther inspiration into a sole resembling paw pads and a hologram imitating a panther's eye, appeared in He Got Game in 1998, and a pair Jordan wore in 1997-98 sold for $2.2 million in April 2023, a world record for the most valuable sneakers
